EAPT Main Event Hits Georgian Shores For the First Time in History
For the first time its eleven-year history, the EA Poker Tour (EAPT) has landed in Batumi, Georgia — where the Eclipse Casino will host the prestigious series between September 7 - 15.
The last EAPT took place in May earlier this year at Dusk Till Dawn Poker Room in the UK, where local player Ali Ayub bested a field of 858 players and took home the top prize of £67,400.

As the series here in Batumi approaches its business end, the $500 Main Event - $140,000 GTD kicks off today at 12 p.m. with Day 1a, the first of four opening flights. Players will begin with 40,000 chips and the clock will be set at 40 minutes throughout the day until around 15% of the field has been reached.
The survivors will then bag up their chips and advance to Day 2, which will play out on Sunday, September 15, where a champion will be crowned.
Blinds will start at 100/300 with no ante, with every subsequent level then including a big blind ante.
