Szabo was on his way to double up after the turn 2. But the A landed on the rive to send him to the rail. He is the first player eliminated on Day 3 and wins €1,800 for his 16th place.

Sabishchenko Doubles Through Zeravica

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After Rostyslav Sabishchenko raised to 40,000 from the button, Ivo Zeravica defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of A96 and Zeravica led out for 150,000. Sabishchenko called, then had an easy call when Zeravica shoved for 805,000 on the turn Q.

Alina and Szabo Split

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Zsolt Szabo raised to 45,000 from the button and was called by the chip leader Mario Alina in the big blind.

Szabo continued for 40,000 on a flop of 2710, then fired a second barrel of 75,000 on the turn J. Alina check-called both times.

On the river 7, Alina checked again. At the same time, Szabo's phone rang, so he looked at it and texted while everybody was waiting for him to make a decision.

He eventually flipped over his cards to check, revealing 102 for two pairs. Alina had 108, so they split the pot

Final Day of EAPT Bratislava Main Event Begins at 2:00 P.M. Local Time

2024 EAPT Bratislava
2024 EAPT Bratislava

In a few hours, one player will be crowned as the winner of the €560 EAPT Bratislava Main Event at Banco Casino. But who will be this player?

After Day 2, only 16 runners of a field of 389 entrants are still in the race to win the first-place prize of €37,630. They are led by Slovakia's Mario Alina, who built a massive stack of 2,435,000 chips after he had a "crazy run" in the last moments of Day 2.

But even with Alina in the lead, it is still way too far to predict the name of the winner, as six players come back on Day 3 with more than 50 blinds, including Day 1s overall chip leader Miklos Zsuffa (1,760,000), Avraham Sisso (1,330,000), or Rostyslav Sabishchenko (1,050,000). Lukasz Fraczek (355,000) and Adrian Filip (345,000) are also in the race, even if they hold the two shortest stacks of the field.
