73 Players on Day 2 of the EAPT Bucarest Main Event
The race to the final table is on when Day 2 of the 2023 €560 Eurasian Poker Tour Main Event begins at 2 p.m. local time.
The first four starting flights saw a total of 486 entries take to the felt at 888poker Room in Bucharest. But only 73 players still remain in the hunt for the trophy and for the €36,000 first-place prize, all of whom are now in the money after surviving their opening flight. A €223,560 prize pool was generated on this event, surpassing the €200,000 guarantee, and all the players on Day 2 secured a min cash of €1,375 so far.
Ionut Voinea built up a stack of 826,000 on Day 1c and took the overall tournament chip lead. Day 1d's biggest stack Dumitru Barta (657,000), Stefan Ionita (644,000), and Day 1a chip lead Corneliu Cretu (521,000) also reached the Top 5.
