EAPT Arrives in Bucharest For the Start of the €560 Main Event at 5 p.m.
While PokerNews' reporting team is currently working on NAPT in Las Vegas and WSOP Europe in Rozvadov, another poker festival not to be missed is the 2023 Eurasian Poker Tour Bucharest at 888poker Room in Bucharest.
This stop in Romania is the fourth one of the year for EAPT, as the tour has already made stops in Rozvadov in June, Milan in July, and Barcelona in October. This last tournament in Spain was won by Fernando Santa Maria, who claimed the €26,625 top prize.

In Bucharest, the festival started on Friday, November 3 with the €250 EAPT Cup. But the €560 Main Event kicks off today, Wednesday, November 8 at 5 p.m. local time with Day 1a, the first out of four flights. Then Day 2 will take place on Saturday, November 11 before the final day on Sunday.
€180,000 is guaranteed on the Main Event, but €20,000 in packages are also added to the prize pool, with the final four players qualifying for the EAPT Grand Final to be held next fall in Cyprus.
But before reaching the top positions, players will have to increase their 40,000 chip-starting stacks on 40-minute levels, starting on blinds of 100-200 and a 200 big blind ante. Late registrations will close at the end of Level 9, with a single reentry allowed per flight. All Day 1s will end when 15% of the field remains, and players who qualify for Day 2 will be in the money.
