The action was picked up on a turn of 10♦K♣A♦7♠. Tom-Aksel Bedell checked in early position to Pavel Izotov on the button. Izotov bet 155,000 into a pot of 250,000, which Bedell raised to 400,000.

Izotov put in a call and the 9♠ river hit the table. Bedell piled in a stack of 500,000, after which Izotov instantly jammed all in for 680,000.

"Big mistake," Bedell stated as he eventually called the final few chips.

Izotov tabled Q♣J♣8♠8♦ for the nut straight, besting the K♠K♦Q♥2♠ of Bedell and raking in the huge double-up.
