Bortolon Triples in an Odd Hand
A player opened up for 2,000 before another player called from late position. Paolo Bortolon jammed for 14,000 from the button and got a call from Erik Salensminde. The first player that opened the hand folded and the other player called.
This is where things got a little odd. Bortolon turned over his cards which were . He was asked to cover them up and the floor was called.
As he was already all-in, he stayed in the hand and his cards were turned over.
Both Bortolon's opponents checked after the came on the flop. Salensminde bet 10,000 after the came on the turn and his opponent folded.
Salensminde's bet appeared odd to the table as he turned over with no chance to win the hand nor there being any side pot to win.
Bortolon collected the pot after the completed the board on the river and the tournament director opted to just give him a warning as it appeared unintentional that he exposed his cards.
