Needens Doubles On Last Hand Before Break
Players are now in the process of coloring up and going on a 15-minute break. On the last hand before break, Randy Needens opened to 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Steve Wilkie, who was on the button. Nate Zoller called from the small blind, as did Barb Visher, to take action four ways to the flop .
Zoller and Visher checked, and Needens announced he was all in as he pushed forward his chips.
"Randy Dandy!" said Wilkie as he folded.
"May I please receive a count?" said Zoller, with action now back on him. Needens' total was counted to be 425,000. Zoller thought for a few seconds and called before Visher got out of their way and let the two turn up their cards.
Nate Zoller:
Randy Needens:
'That's what I thought you had!" said Zoller, realizing he was now in need of hitting a three-outer in order to avoid doubling up Needens. The turn and river fell and Needens improved to aces up, securing the double in the process.
