Zoller Gets Value With Trips
Level 24
: 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Randy Needens opened from the hijack to 60,000 and action folded around to Nate Zoller, who defended his big blind. The flop came and Zoller checked. Needens put out a continuation-bet of 120,000 and Zoller put out chips to call.
Both players checked the turn and the river fell . Zoller bet 135,000 and Needens went into the tank, eventually calling after about 15 seconds.
Zoller tabled for trip fives.
"Nice catch," said Needens as he turned over , showing that his jacks were good until the river.
