Tricia Coogan had just recounted a hand where she ecstatic about having lost the minimum. According to her and tablemate Mike Wheeler, action folded around to the player in the small blind and he completed. Tricia Coogan was in the big blind with pocket queens and decided to check.
The flop came and the small blind checked to her. She fired a small bet and he called. The turn came and the small blind again check-called a small bet from her.
The river came to bring aces and kings on the board with a ten, giving her nothing more than a queen kicker. Her opponent bet and she folded.
Upon her folding, she was shown for flopped quads, and in total, her queens-versus-aces situation only ended up costing her around 800 in chips.
