Spades Take It At Showdown
Tyler Potts opened the action with a raise to 1,200 in early position and received a call from Pat Pineda in the hijack. Greg Geller also called in the small blind, as did Matt Johnston in the big blind.
All four players checked and the turn came . Geller bet 3,300 and Johnston called. Potts reached for calling chips and tossed them in the middle as well, with Pineda letting his hand go to take action three ways to the river .
Geller checked and Johnston bet 6,000. Potts then called and Geller went into the tank for over a minute before finding a call as well.
"Somebody show me a winner," said the dealer, and Potts was the first to table his hand . Neither Geller nor Johnston had better, and the two each sent their cards to the muck.
"Nice hand, man, said Pineda as the dealer shipped Potts the pot.
