Hand #40

After a preflop betting war, Carl Masters moved all in and He Feng called to put himself at risk.

Carl Masters: [qsqjh4s]

Masters was in the lead with his two queens, but the runout of 37410K gave Feng kings and tens to score a double.

Karim Bevans Eliminated in 7th Place ($6,960)

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 10,000 ante
Karim Bevans
Karim Bevans

Hand #21

Nan Liu limped under-the-gun with K1066 and the action folded to Karim Bevans in the big blind who raised the pot to 100,000 with AAKQ. Liu decided to defend his limp and the two players went to the flop of 943.

Both players made a flush, but Bevans held the nuts and down-bet to 40,000, which Liu called.

A fourth diamond came on the turn 7 and both players decided to check, which may have been Bevan's downfall as the river smacks down the 8 to give Liu a straight flush!

Thinking he still has the best hand, Bevans led out for 215,000 but then Liu popped it to 530,000. Bevans thought about it for a second before he moved all.

"Snap-call, straight flush," Liu announced as he showed him the bad news.

"GAHHH D**N!!" Bevans jumped up and shook his head at his bad luck.

He then watched as all of his chips were shipped over to Liu and he was eliminated in 7th place.

John Compton Eliminated in 8th Place ($5,950)

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 10,000 ante
John Compton
John Compton

Hand#18

Nan Liu opened to 50,000 from the Hijack with AK107 and was called by Vladyslav Shovkovyi in the small blind with AK65 and John Compton in the big blind with KQJ3.

The flop came out KJ7 and Compton bet the pot of 160,000, but then Liu raised him to 320,000. Shovkovyi quickly got out of the way while Compton moved all in for just 65,000 more, which Liu called.

Compton was in the lead with his king-jack, but the turn A shifted the tide in Liu's favor as he made a superior two pair. The river was the 2 and Liu was awarded the pot while Compton was eliminated in 8th place.

Compton Cracks Aces to Double Through Liu

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #2

After an open from Nan Liu preflop, short-stacked John Compton moved all for his last 130,000 and Liu quickly called to put him at risk.

John Compton: 10975All in
Nan Liu: AA53

Compton would need some help to stay alive, and he sure got it as the runout of 9Q698 gave him trip nines on the turn and improved him to a straight on the river to score the double.
