Wild Ride for Richards and Chomenko

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jessica Richards
Jessica Richards

Christopher Chomenko moved all in preflop and was called by Jessica Richards to put him at risk.

Christopher Chomenko: 88
Jessica Richards: 1010

Richards had a huge advantage with her superior holding, but an eight appeared right in the window of the 824 flop. The turn came the 5 which also gave Chomenko a flush draw and took away one of Richard's two outs. And of course, the river was the 10 to give Richards a set of tens, but it also gave Chomenko a flush to take down the pot for the double.

Trumbo Calls With Aces; Lawson Exits

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

David Lawson opened under-the-gun to 45,000 and was then three-bet to 100,000 by Isaac Trumbo. When the action folded back to him, Lawson made the call to see a flop of KQJ.

Both players then checked to see the 3 peel off on the turn, which saw a bet from Lawson lead for 65,000 and a call from Trumbo.

The river fell the 8 and Lawson fired again for 160,000, which sent Trumbo into the tank.

After a few moments of head shaking and counting chips, Trumbo tossed in the chips to make the call.

"Nice call," Lawson sighed as he tabled 89 for a pair of eights.

"Nice barrel," Trumbo replied as he rolled over [ajad] to take the pot.

Left short, Lawson exited the tournament a few hands later.
