Williams Spikes Queen, Devitt Exits

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After a preflop betting war, Raj Kumar, William Devitt, and Dedric Williams got all of their chips into the middle, with Devitt covering.

Raj Kumar: AK
Dedric Williams: QQ
William Devitt: AA

Devitt was in prime position to score two knockouts with his rockets, but the deck had other plans as the board ran out 59JQK to give Williams the saving queen on the turn. He was then pushed the substantial pot while Kumar was eliminated and Devitt was left short.

Devitt then moved all in the very next hand with 85 but could not find a double against the AQ of Richard Spooner.

Ladies Good for Hickey

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a heads-up board reading 64J2, Michael Arellano bet 8,000 and was then raised to 21,000 by Jason Hickey.

When the river came out the 8, Arellano bombed it for 44,000 and Hickey went into the tank.

After around thirty seconds, he shrugged and set out the chips.

"Good call," Arellano sighed as he flipped over a busted straight draw that left him with a pair of eights while Hickey tabled QQ to take down the pot.

"I like the bet though," Hickey reassured Arellano, "If I don't have a club in my hand I fold."

ABC Poker for Esposito

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Aaron McEvoy opened to 2,600 and was called by William Devitt in the cutoff and John Ross on the button, but then Andrew Esposito three-bet to 11,000. McEvoy quickly folded but Devitt and Ross made the call to see a flop of K610.

Esposito put out a continuation bet of 3,700 and was met with zero resistance as both opponents quickly tossed in their cards.
