On a heads-up flop of 8♦J♥7♦, Jack Corrigan and Warren Simon got all the chips into the middle, with Corrigan covering.
Corrigan flipped over 7♣8♠ for a flopped two-pair but he was in bad shape once SImon tabled 7♥7♠ for a set of sevens.
Only an eight or running jacks could give him the win, but the runout of 2♦2♠ improved Simon to a full house and he was awarded the pot for the double.
Corrigan was then left short after that and he exited a few hands later.
