Champions Club $1,500 Main Event Final Flight Day 1f Starts at Noon!
Welcome back to another exciting day of poker here at the Winter Poker Open hosted by Champions Club poker room in Houston, Texas. Today will feature the sixth and final starting flight, Day 1f, of Event #15: $1 Million GTD $1,500 Main Event!
The current stack to beat is held by Kassim Panjwani from yesterday's Day 1f, who bagged a whopping 2,337,000. Since yesterday's flight garnered an impressive 290 entries, only 138 more are needed to reach the $1 million guarantee, with some projections expecting 350+ today.
This flight will kick off at noon local time and registration will be open for a whopping nine hours and fifteen minutes (approximately 9:15 pm) and play will continue until 12% of the field remains.
Players will receive a starting stack of 60,000 and levels will be 40 minutes in length for all starting flights, and then will be increased to 60 minutes on Day 2.
The two-day event culminates with a live-streamed final table on Monday, February 19 once all survivors from the six opening flights have been thinned to nine remaining contenders. Those opening flight returnees will come back to the Champions Club poker room at noon tomorrow to continue their chase for a six-figure payday.
