Franco Shut Down by Shipp; Han Housed

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 3,000 ante

About 50,000 was in the middle on a flop of 985 when Thomas Shipp in the big blind and Roger Franco in middle position exchanged bets and raises until Franco's final 75,000 or so was at risk.

Roger Franco: KK73
Thomas Shipp: QQJ10

Shipp's queen-high straight left Franco needing a spade on the river, but the 5 fell instead, felting Franco and shipping the pot to Shipp.

meanwhile, Steven McKuin has just eliminated Ken Han, leaving the players one elimination away from the two-table redraw.

Turov's Check-Raise Does the Trick

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 3,000 ante

On a four-way flop of 953, Danylo Turov and Roger Franco checked the blinds to Steven McKuin who bet 32,000 under the gun.

Kyle Arora called on the button before Turov check-potted it to 205,000. Franco and McKuin quickly folded, but Arora took a bit of time as a call would essentially commit his stack.

After a bit of thought, he opted to fold, sending the sizeable pot to Turov.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Chang was just eliminated at the far table in the room.

A massive pot has just seen Sung Keem take over the chip lead while eliminating Andrew Koenigsberg.

Carson Wieland started the action with a raise to 14,000 under the gun. Koenigsberg called before Keem three-bet to 50,000 on the button.

Both opponents called to see the K65 flop, and action checked to Keem who bet 35,000. Again both opponents called.

The trio saw the 6 turn and things got spicy.

Wieland now led for 175,000, Koenigsberg moved all in for 116,000, and Keem then moved in over top for 435,000.

Wieland deliberated for a bit before folding, leaving Keem to cooler Koenigsberg.
