Maret Komarova and Viacheslav Kovalev Win Big on Day 3
The Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino keeps growing bigger and bigger with Day 3 building off the huge success from its first two days with nonstop ring game action running all day long.
In addition to the huge amount of action in the poker room, the feature tables were even more special than normal. The first feature table was a Ladies Feature Table with stakes at €2/€2 no-limit hold'em.
The players were all experienced with some of them playing poker for a living. Tennis instructor and Cash Game Festival regular Maret Komarova was the biggest winner at the table after booking a profit of €594 or 297 big blinds.
After the first feature table, many of the players with the hospitality package headed to a VIP dinner while many others packed the poker room.
Shortly after, the second feature table began with stakes at €5/€10 no-limit hold'em. Once again the table was full of experienced players displaying impressive poker action. Cash Game Festival Commentator Andrew "Picasso" Hedley joined in on the fun and showed his fans that he can play with the best of them by booking a profit of €1,320 or 132 big blinds.
However, Hedley wasn't the biggest winner at the table. This honored belonged to Viacheslav Kovalev who won €1,716 or 171.6 big blinds.
Despite Komarova and Viacheslav both winning big, neither player is in contention for the Cash Game Festival feature table trophy that gets awarded to the player that wins the most big blinds at any of the 10 feature tables during the festival. Right now, Heiti Riisberg holds a lead that is likely to hold throughout the festival after winning €3,364 or 1,682 big blinds on a wild and crazy €2/€2 no-limit hold'em table on Day 1.
Players with the hospitality package are invited tomorrow for a VIP party, while many others instead will rock and roll at the poker tables in the casino.
Stay tuned at PokerNews for the next two days as we report the hottest action during the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn.
