Streltsov Bets One Out; Kropmanns Flops the Nuts For a Bustout
A player under the gun raised to 2,000 and Ilia Streltsov three-bet to 8,000 in the hijack. His opponent called and they went heads-up to the A♥Q♦10♦ flop.
Streltsov continued for 8,000 and his opponent called. The turn was the 4♠ and Streltsov bet another 26,000. His opponent this time took more than a minute before giving up the pot.
At the same time at another table, Ramon Kropmanns and an opponent went to the river on a board of A♣J♣K♠7♦2♥ and around 25,000 in the pot. The under-the-gun player then bet 18,500 and Kropmanns moved all in from the big blind.
His opponent tanked for a minute before calling for an additional 30,000, showing A♥J♦. Kropmanns, though, had Q♠10♠ for the flopped straight to win the pot and send his opponent to the rail.
