Feldman Doubles With Nines Full

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ross Feldman
Ross Feldman

Ross Feldman doubled up in the biggest pot of the tournament so far that saw him bringing his stack to 1,500,000.

In a heads-up pot on a board of {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, Feldman bet 180,000 and his opponent called. The opponent checked on the {6-Hearts} turn and Feldman quickly moved all in for 405,000.

The opponent went deep into the tank and a player at the table eventually called the clock, prompting the opponent to call with a bigger stack.

Ross Feldman: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Feldman was in front with a set but needed to dodge clubs or a king. The river brought the {j-Spades} to improve Feldman to a full house and he doubled up to take a commanding chip lead.

Ackerman Gets Kings Cracked by Elias' "Favorite Hand"

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Christopher Ackerman

Christopher Ackerman opened from late position and Robert Elias three-bet jammed from the next seat. Ackerman quickly called with a bigger stack when the action got around.

Robert Elias: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Christopher Ackerman: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Ackerman had a big lead but the flop landed {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades} to give Elias a flush draw. The board then finished out {3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Elias received the unlikely double to put a beat on Ackerman.

"Gamble, gamble!" said Ren Lin.

"It's my favorite hand," Elias explained.
