For every Open Series (five times a year) Borgata has a drawing for players who enter their information on theBorgata.com tournament web site. One player is randomly selected and awarded a free seat in the Championship event.
This time it was a well-known player: Soukha Kachittavong. He's got more than $1.5 million in tournament earnings and most recently won the 2019 Fall Poker Open Kick-Off DeepStack event for $87,443. That was the second time he won a major series kick-off event and his fourth Borgata title overall.
