Pitoniak Finds a Double Through Hall

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Galen Hall opened from under the gun, Nicholas Verderamo called in the small blind and Drake Pitoniak three-bet to 8,000. Only Hall stuck around to see the {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and Pitoniak continued for 5,000.

Hall called and the dealer turned over a {10-Spades}. Pitoniak jammed all in, totaling 26,500 and Hall hit the tank. After a few minutes, Pitoniak called clock on Hall who then elected to call.

Pitoniak flipped over {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for just ace-high but it was the best hand when Hall showed his {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, giving many outs to take down the pot.

The {q-Hearts} river failed to connect with Gale who sent over a 26,5000 stack to Pitoniak.
