Will Givens Wins the Six-Max NLH for $91,017
Event #14: $1,090 Six Max NLH drew a massive total of 383 entries creating a prize pool of over $371,000. It was a stacked field that concluded with two WSOP bracelet winners facing off for the Borgata Winter Poker Open title.
It was smooth sailing for Will Givens for much of the day and he managed to stay near the top of the chip counts throughout. Anthony Zinno vaulted to the top after eliminating Ryan Eriquezzo in fourth place when his pocket kings held up against Eriquezzo's big slick.
Tomas Soderstrom was the next player to fall in third place and Zinno would enter heads-up play with more than a 2:1 chip lead. Givens kept his composure chipping away at Zinno until he found a massive double-up holding ten-nine against the ten-eight of Zinno on the ten-high flop.
Givens never looked back and was crowned the Borgata Winter Poker Open Six-Max NLH Champion earning $91,017 and his second Borgata Poker Open title.
