The Saturday Series is off and running in the Event Center. They're off to a slow start, but this field will continue to grow, despite the frigid temperatures outside and the threat of snow in the area.

With more than five hours of late registration, they'll pick up some entrants who bust out of the two events restarting at 12 noon, Event #1: $600 DeepStack Kick-Off and Event#3: $500 Black Chip Bounty.

It is going to be a busy day at the 2020 Borgata Winter Poker Open (BWPO) with five events playing to conclusion, with four awarding trophies before the day is done. Leading off at 11 a.m. is Borgata's beloved Event #4: $400 NLH Saturday Series Deep Stack NLH with $100,000 Guaranteed. This is one of the players' favorites, running on Saturday and carrying the big guarantee, and it's been a staple on the weekends here for many years.

Players will start with 25,000 in chips and all levels are 30 minutes long. This is a one-day event and will play until a winner is determined. Late registration and re-entries will remain open through the break at the end of Level 10 (about 4:45 p.m.).

Last year the first Saturday Series Deep Stack event drew 668 runners, more than doubling its $100,000 Guarantee. Mike Collette took first place after the final eight players struck a deal at about 5 a.m. He collected $28,670 and the BWPO trophy.

Updates will be sporadic during the day, due to the number of other events running, but PokerNews will be there at the final table to bring you the conclusion and the newest Saturday Series Champion.
