In 2018, Rafael Reis won the Borgata Spring Poker Open Kick-Off Deep Stack NLH event, topping a field of 2,370 entrants to claim first place and $216,010. The Brazilian has more than $967,000 in tournament earnings and won the largest poker event ever held in the state of Florida, with over 5,000 participants.
Reis moved to the United States and started playing professionally in 2014 and has already claimed ten titles in just five years.
