Jackson Runs into Quads

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Just before the break, the flop read {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds} with around 70,000 in the middle already.

David Jackson had checked in the hijack and Louis Pelletteri bet 15,000 from the button which Jackson called.

The turn brought them the {3-Clubs} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the river. Jackson checked for the last time and Pelletteri barreled a bet of 75,000 over the line. Jackson responded with a shove of around 400,000 for Pelletteri to snap-call. Jackson tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for the full house but Pelletteri held {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for quad treys for Jackson to look stunned and get up from his chair in disbelief.

The hand right after, Pelletteri raised to 15,000 from the cutoff and Joseph Muldoon defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}, Muldoon check-called the 15,000 continuation-bet of Pelletteri. They both checked through the {j-Hearts} on the turn to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Muldoon bet 30,000 and Pelletteri took a few seconds.

"Only because you don't play that many hands..." Pelletteri said before opting to fold.
