D'Amico Cracks Aces and Kings to Stay Alive

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Giuseppe D'Amico

Bill Miller raised to 70,000 from the cutoff and Giuseppe D'Amico moved all in for 245,000 from the small blind. With the action on Spencer Champlin he re-shoved all in from the big blind and Miller snap called for just over 500,000.

Giuseppe D'Amico: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Bill Miller: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Spencer Champlin: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

D'Amico's rail called for a six and right on cue the dealer fanned the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop.

D'Amico spiked a six in the window improving to bottom set to take the lead. The turn {10-Hearts} and river {10-Clubs} sealed the deal fro D'Amico who more than tripled his stack and Miller took the side pot.

Champlin has been getting involved in his fair share of pots and it's paying off.

He is now sitting behind a mountain of 1,700,000 and he's starting to pull away from the rest of the field.
