Jon Lane Triples Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jon Lane

The player in the cutoff raised to 5,500 and David Jackson re-raised to 16,000 from the small blind. Jon Lane moved all in for his last 14,300 from the big blind and both players called.

They saw a flop of {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Jackson led out with a bet of 8,000. The player in the cutoff called and the {10-Spades} hit the turn. Jackson moved all in for about 25,000 and his opponent folded.

Jackson turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top set and Lane still had outs as he tabled his {8-Spades}{4-Spades}.

"I have less outs than I thought" joked Lane and he found one of them when the {k-Spades} hit the river. Lane improved to a flush to crack Jackson's top set and more than triple his stack.
