Howard Wolper
Howard Wolper

Howard Wolper is Borgata's cashing machine, holding the record for most tournament cashes at this venue with 128, well ahead of his closest rival, Michael Marder, who has 93.

It seems appropriate that he's seated on Table #1 in the Signature Room, given that he's ranked #1 in cashes. We'll keep an eye on Wolper throughout this series to see if he can add to that impressive number before the series wraps on November 22nd.

Welcome to Event #9: $230 Deeper Stack NLH

Sal Anastasio
Sal Anastasio

The 2019 Borgata Fall Poker Open continues at 12 noon with Event #9: $240 Deeper Stack NLH and this event carries a $20,000 Guarantee on total buy-ins.

The tournament starts players with 35,000 in chips and offers late registration and re-entries through the break at the end of Level 10 (about 4:40pm). Levels 1-15 are 25 minutes in length and after that they switch to 30 minutes.

Last year this tournament drew 117 entries. The final seven players wasted little time agreeing on an equitable division of remaining prize money and wrapped up the tournament in about 12 hours. Sal Anastasio took first place, $3,244, and the BFPO trophy.
