Writt Jr Fails to Hold vs. Ames

Walter Writt Jr and Jennifer Ames moved all of their chips into the middle, with Ames having a slight chip advantage as the players tabled their hands.

Writt Jr turned over a pair of ladies and was well ahead of the ace-jack of Ames. The board rolled out ace-high and shifted the lead to Ames who took down the pot with her spiked ace, sending Writt Jr out the door.

Milstein Shoves the Turn, Paulson Hangs Around

Lahey Knocks Dunleavy Out

Pamela Dunleavy moved the rest of her stack into the middle with ace-five of clubs and was called by Rich Lahey, holding ace-ten. The flop came down with two tens and the rest is history as Lahey took down the pot, eliminating Dunleavy from the tournament.

During the same time, Timothy Little took an exit as he fell victim to Jennifer Ames who now has a healthy-sized stack.
