Robert Chasen

Robert Chasen opened for 100,000 on the button, then David Jackson made it 400,000 from the big blind. Chasen wasted no time moving all his chips in.

Jackson tossed his pocket sevens to the dealer face up, surrendering the pot. Chasen chipped up to ~2.5 million.

Jackson Continues to Stack Chips

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Jackson opened to 100,000 from under the gun, Peter Walsworth called in middle position and the dealer fanned out {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} on the flop.

Jackson bet 100,000 and Walsworth called to see the {8-Diamonds} turn card. Jackson bet 225,000, Walsworth called and the {5-Clubs} completed the board.

Jackson announced that he was all-in and Walsworth began to think. Ultimately Walsworth folded and Jackson pulled in another pot, adding to his lead.

Joseph Gambino Eliminated in 8th Place ($35,316)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Joseph Gambino
Joseph Gambino

Nikolai Markov opened for 125,000, then Joseph Gambino three-bet to 300,000. Markov jammed and Gambino called, tabling {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Markov was way ahead with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Spades} and despite flopping a Broadway draw for more outs, Gambino was unable to improve his hand and was busted in 8th place ($35,316).

Markov is up to 5,6265,000, good for second in chips.

No discernable dent was made in Jackson's monster stack.

On the river with a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}, Paul Volpe (hijack) called a bet from David Jackson, (cutoff) who showed {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for the straight flush. Volpe mucked.

After that huge pot, Jackson is up to more than 9.5 million, (238 BBs) nearly half the total chips in play. Volpe's stack slipped to ~1.2 million (30 BBs).

Matthew Silberzweig Eliminated in 9th Place ($24,784)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Matthew Silberzweig
Matthew Silberzweig

It came down to a battle of the blinds. Matthew Silberzweig was all-in for 1,695,000 from the small and Nikolai Markov (bb) was all-in for more (2,055,000).

Markov had the best hand with {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Silberzweig's {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} needed help for him to survive. The board brought none, however, as it came {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} giving Markov a set and the pot.

Matthew Silberzweig finished in 9th place, earning $24,784.
