Noman Michalek is making his return to Borgata in today's Almighty Stack Flight C, after a two year absence.
It was about two and a half years ago that he came so close to winning in this event. In the 2017 Spring Poker Open $400 Almighty Stack NLH event, he finished second out of 1,764 entrants, earning $56,148 (his best live cash). The winner of that event was Manuel Jaime, earning nearly $77,000.
In the intervening years, Michalek cashed four times at the 2018 WSOP and again posted four cashes at the 2019 WSOP.
His lifetime earnings have topped $455,000. Not bad, given that he's only been booking tournament cashes for a little more than nine years.
Not gonna lie coming back to Borgata since last being here two years ago, I missed this place.
