Faraz Jaka on Day 2 of the 2014 Borgata Winter Poker Open WPT Main Event
Faraz Jaka on Day 2 of the 2014 Borgata Winter Poker Open WPT Main Event

Faraz Jaka earned the unlikely nickname "The Toilet" during his college days, when he was known at his home games for playing any two suited cards in hopes of finding a flush.

Jaka just experienced a moment of nostalgia, turning a suited hand into a winner to push closer to the 200,000 chip plateau.

After opening for 2,200 before the flop, Jaka and the lone caller saw the {3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} rain down on the flop. Jaka c-bet for 3,500 and his opponent flatted to see the {6-Diamonds} come on the turn. Both players tapped the table at the sight of a brick, and the river came {10-Hearts} to complete the board.

Jaka then decided to pounce on the pot with a bet of 8,800, and his opponent quickly called while tabling {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a rivered pair of tens. Jaka had him beat though with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for top pair, and after both players took suited cards to battle it was Jaka who faded the four-flush to take down yet another pot.
