Round of 32: Tai Yuen Defeats Raffi Nahabedian

After splitting the first two games of their second-round match, Tai Yuen and Raffi Nahabedian both flopped pairs in the deciding hand.
According to Yuen, the flop came down

. Nahabedian was not a believer though, and with 
in the hole he figured middle pair with the best kicker to be basically the nuts. He soon found out that his read was wrong, however, when Yuen tabled the best of it, and when the board bricked out out on the turn and river the match was over.
