The Old Pack Your Bags Trick Works Again

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

James Woods was involved in a hand where he had called a short stacked player's slightly over 7,000 chip all in bet. The original raiser in the hand re-raised giving Woods a dilemma. He wanted to call, it was obvious on his face, but it would be for his entire stack. Meanwhile the short stacked player stood up, grabbed his backpack, and said "this works every time".

Woods decided to fold and when the two players turned over {A-}{Q-} (for the short stacked player) and {A-}{K-}, Woods sighed "I knew it" and claimed he folded {10-}{10-}. The board would run out with a {Q-} on it to give the short stacked player a triple up and the pack your bags trick did indeed work this time. It doesn't work every time though, I can promise you that.
