Curt Kohlberg may be joining the booth soon...

Hand #97: Byron Kaverman min-raised to 200,000 from the button, Keven Stammen folded, and Tony Dunst three-bet shoved for 895,000. The pressure play worked to perfection and Dunst took it down.

Hand #98: Kaverman opened to 200,000 from the cutoff and took down the blinds and antes

Hand #99: Stammen opened to 250,000 from the cutoff and the blinds and antes were pushed his way.

Hand 100: The action folded around to Curt Kohlberg in the small blind and he open-shoved for 1.895 million. Kaverman didn't take his time in acting after a seven minute tank earlier, and he quickly called Kohlberg down.

Kohlberg: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Kaverman: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Kohlberg made his stand with an ace-high hand, but he was dominated by Kaverman's jack-kicker.

Flop: {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Turn: {a-Spades}
River: {3-Hearts}

The board ran out clean for Kaverman and he crippled Kohlberg while moving to nearly 4 million.

Hands #94-96: Stammen vs. D'Angelo, Part Three

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Hand #94: Tony Dunst had the button. He couldn't find a hand he liked and elected to fold. Ryan D'Angelo moved all in from the small blind and Curt Kohlberg folded from the big blind to give D'Angelo the pot.

Hand #95: Ryan D'Angelo had the button. Tony Dunst moved all in first to act from the cutoff and everyone folded to give Dunst the blinds and antes.

Hand #96: Curt Kohlberg was the button. Ryan D'Angelo opened to 200,000 from the cutoff. Keven Stammen called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Stammen led out for 275,000 and D'Angelo called.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and Stammen did not slow down as he made a bet of 350,000. D'Angelo thought for a moment and then made the call.

The river was the {A-Spades} and both players checked. Stammen would show {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, pairing his Ace on the river to improve his hand from Eights and Fours to Aces and Eights. That was good enough to take the pot as D'Angelo mucked.

Hand #89: Molasses and a Glass of Juice

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

Hand #89: Byron Kaverman opened to 200,000 from under the gun, and next to act Keven Stammen flatted the raise, with Tony Dunst quickly folding on the button. Sitting in the small blind, Ryan D'Angelo three-bet jammed for 2.35 million, which led to an extended tank from Kaverman (who is known for taking a minute or so just to check his big blind option).

“You didn’t even think about it, did you?," asked Kaverman, directing his inquiry to D'Angelo despite Stammen remaining in the hand. "If you had threes, you might’ve thought about it. If you had aces, you might’ve thought about it.”

Kaverman sat still and stared downward for over seven minutes, cutting out a stack of chips and riffling them (even that was done deliberately), before finally making up his mind and sliding his cards slowly, inch by inch, to the dealer.

Stammen beat him into the muck with a snap-fold after having more than enough time to decide, and the rail exploded with yet another cheer from D'Angelo's rail - his girlfriend and fellow pro Ronit Chamani punctuating the celebration with shout of "woo baby!" as her beau bagged the pot.

Hand #88: Ryan D'Angelo Hits Queen to Stay Alive

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Ryan D'Angelo
Ryan D'Angelo

Hand #88: Keven Stammen was on the button. Byron Kaverman opened to 210,000 from the cutoff. Ryan D'Angelo moved all in and was snap-called by Byron Kaverman. The hands:

Byron Kaverman: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Ryan D'Angelo: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The flop would come {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} moving D'Angelo into the lead and resulting in a scream of joy from D'Angelo's girlfriend, Ronit Chamani.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Chamani yelled for a three while Kaverman's rail pleaded for a Jack. A King would also do the deed.

The river {10-Hearts} gave D'Angelo the much needed double up and Chamani screamed at the top of her longs "Yes Baby!!!!" as D'Angelo came to give her a hug.

D'Angelo looked shell-shocked as he shook his head and said "Oh my God, I'm such a luckbox!"

Hand #85: Keven Stammen raised to 250,000 from under the gun, and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #86: Byron Kaverman completed from the small blind, Stammen checked in the big blind, and the flop came {8-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Both players checked. The turn was the {10-Spades}, Kaverman led out for 175,000, and Stammen called.

The river was the {9-Clubs}, both players checked, and Kaverman took the pot with {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a straight.

Hand #87: Curt Kohlberg moved all in for around 1.285 million from the cutoff, and Tony Dunst tank-called in the big blind.

Kohlberg: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Dunst: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Kohlberg flopped a pair of aces when the dealer fanned {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, but Dunst held the only diamond. The WPT Raw Deal host added three extra outs to make Broadway on the turn ({j-Clubs}), but the river was a big red brick; the {6-Hearts}.

Hands #82-84: D'Angelo and Dunst Duel

Ryan D'Angelo just doubled through Tony Dunst to keep himself in contention for the WPT World Championship
Ryan D'Angelo just doubled through Tony Dunst to keep himself in contention for the WPT World Championship

Hand #82: The action folded around to Keven Stammen in the small blind, and he opened to 275,000 to fold Tony Dunst in the big blind.

Hand #83: Byron Kaverman opened for 210,000 in the cutoff, Keven Stammen flatted from the button, and Tony Dunst three-bet jammed for exactly 2 million. The pressure play worked and both Kaverman and Stammen released without much deliberation.

Hand #84: Dunst open shoved from the button for just under 2.6 million, and Ryan D'Angelo quickly made the call from the small blind.

Dunst: {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
D'Angelo: {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Dunst had jammed for 13 big blinds effective, and D'Angelo had found a king-high hand to make his stand with, and both players prepared for the dealer and the deck to decide their fate.

Flop: {k-}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

D'Angelo paired his king to take a huge lead in the hand, but you know what they say about a sweat...

Turn: {9-Clubs}

Dunst paired up as well to make the river meaningful, but the {10-Hearts} changed nothing, shipping a much needed double to D'Angelo in the next seat over.

Hands #77-81: Keven Stammen Wins Another Big One Off of D'Angelo

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #77: It was folded to Keven Stammen in the small blind who completed. Tony Dunst moved all in from the big blind and Stammen folded.

Hand #78: It was folded to Keven Stammen on the button who limped in. Dunst folded from the small blind and D'Angelo checked his option.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and D'Angelo check-called a 100,000 bet from Stammen.

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and D'Angelo checked leading to a 400,000 bet from Stammen. D'Angelo folded and Stammen won the pot.

Hand #79: Tony Dunst opened from the button to 160,000 and both blinds folded.

Hand #80: Keven Stammen opened from under the gun to 200,000. The remaining players folded to give Stammen the pot.

Hand #81: Ryan D'Angelo raised to 180,000 from the cutoff. It was folded to Keven Stammen in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Stammen led out for 175,000 and D'Angelo called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Stammen bet again, this time for 275,000. D'Angelo again called.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and Stammen fired a third bullet for 550,000. D'Angelo took a peek at his cards twice and shook his head slightly. As he had earlier in the evening, he started talking to himself. He would again talk himself into a call and would again lose the pot as Stammen had {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for the nut diamond flush. D'Angelo would muck.
