Stay Gold Teddy Boy
We caught up with Ted Goldbergh recently - a Manhattan-based litigator who was profiled along with his wife Debbie during the Borgata Winter Poker Open - finding him flush with chips after dodging a flush draw.
Goldbergh was happily dragging a huge pot his way when we passed by, and after a brief chat it turned out he woke up with while his opponent held a suited .
That player flopped a four-flush on a baby card board, and paired his queen on the turn, but he paid a hefty price to do so as Goldbergh bet big on both streets.
When the river bricked off to leave his opponent with top pair and top kicker - but no nut flush - Goldbergh fired a third barrel on fifth street, with the other player's crying call pushing a huge pot in the attorney's direction.
