Weng's Kings Can't Survive Linde's Jacks
Dylan Linde opened to 11,000 from the hijack before Bin Weng made it 41,500 from the small blind. Action folded back to Linde, who moved all in as the slightly bigger stack. Weng, who had just shy of 200,000 total, snap-called after confirming with the dealer that Linde had shipped in his stack.
Bin Weng: K♦K♠
Dylan Linde: J♠J♥
Weng, the No.1 player on the GPI Rankings thanks to numerous major wins this year, was way ahead until Linde leapfrogged him on the J♣6♥5♦ flop. The 5♣9♣ runout confirmed his exit and he wished the players good luck as he left.
"Kings not nice to me today, I can't win with these," he laughed as he exited the poker room.
Caught up with @BinWeng88, winner of The Return @BorgataPoker back in Jan. It’s been a life changing year for Weng… https://t.co/D3lU9qvO3r
