Welcome toEvent #16 $1,060 8-Max No-Limit Hold’em Main Event of the March Mania series on BetMGM Michigan Series. One of the final tournaments in this 19 event series, sees the second buy-in of $1,060 of the series thus far as well as a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, ensuring this to be the biggest guarantee of the whole series.

The Michigan leg of the BetMGM March Mania is one of the three state based series that also include identical schedules in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Last night saw “TreeGuy88” take down the heads up event for $15,000 and they are expected to sit down in this tournament today.

The Michigan leg of the series has seen three players claim multiple wins with; jdrisco6 winning Event #5 Phase 1 of Phase 2 Main Event and Event #12 $320 NLH PKO, Jwitty winning Event #6 $215 PLO 6-Max and Event #8 $535 NLH Progressive Knockout 6-Max, and Chris “TheDuke8605” Ball taking down Event #10 $320 NLH 8-Max and Event #14 $215 PLO 6-Max. All three of them could look to take down a third title today.

One other player likely to make an appearance is poker vlogger Andrew Neeme. Neeme carries along with him a large following of over 175,000 subscribers on YouTube and is playing as a BetMGM ambassador.

Action is set to kick off at 4 p.m. CDT. Players will begin the tournament with 100,000 in starting chips with blinds starting at 150/300 and a 40 chip ante. The blinds will last 10 minutes each for the first 3 hours of the event. After Level 18, registration will be closed and the players will play 12-minute levels until a winner is reached.
