Day 1b of bestbet Jacksonville Main Event Goes at Noon Saturday
It’s the last chance to advance for hopefuls at the $2,000 bestbet Winter Open Main Event here in Jacksonville. Day 1b kicks off at noon local time with a large turnout expected to significantly boost a prizepool that already has $232,525 in it.
On Friday, 131 players took their shot on Day 1a, with 17 advancing to Sunday’s Day 2. Brett Feder of Jacksonville has the number that players Saturday will be trying to catch, as he turned his 30,000 starting chips into a huge stack of 650,000 by night’s end.

Once play concludes after 14 40-minute levels (or the final 12.5% of the field is reached), those survivors will join the 17 from Day 1a back in the bestbet Jacksonville poker room at noon Sunday to play down to the final table. That final table will take place at 4 p.m. Monday and be streamed on the bestbet YouTube channel.
Registration and re-entry will remain open on Day 1b until the start of level 10 (approximately 7:30 p.m.), following the 60-minute dinner break.
