Yeazell Drags a Big Pot

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
David Yeazell
David Yeazell

David Yeazell raised to 19,000 from under the gun and Roger LaCharite called from middle position. Dickie Malone tossed in calling chips from the button and Clayton Adams came along from the big blind.

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and everyone checked to Malone on the button for a bet of 25,000. Adams and Yeazell called while LaCharite got out of the way.

The turn was {4-Diamonds} and Adams bet 70,000. Yeazell called quickly and Malone mucked his hand. The river came {2-Clubs}.

Both players checked the river to get to a showdown. Adams turned over {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of queens, but Yeazell had {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} to take the pot with a better kicker.

Malone Gets the Call

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With a big pot brewing in the middle and {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the board, Dickie Malone fired 60,000 and send Todd Davis deep into the tank.

After thinking it over for several minutes, Davis made the reluctant call. Malone turned over {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the flush to take a big pot and chip up above 400K.

Stimpfle Doubles Through Davis' Big Stack

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Todd Davis raised to 12,000 from early position and Lance Stimpfle three-bet shoved for 38,000. Action folded back around and Davis put in a stack of chips to call.

Lance Stimpfle: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Todd Davis: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Stimpfle held on with jacks to secure the double. Davis takes a small hit but remains very healthy as the tournament heads into its first 15-minute break.

Risi Forces Weinstock Fold; Weinstock Out Moments Later

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Seth Weinstock raised to 19,000 from early position and Scott Risi three-bet shoved to 78,000 from the next seat over. Nick Raio asked for a count and got out of the way before action was back on Weinstock.

Weinstock was deep in the tank and asking a lot of questions.

"Do you have ace-queen?" he prodded. "Are pocket sevens good? Am I alive?"

Weinstock ultimately folded and showed {3-}{3-}.

"Sevens would've been good," Risi said as he collected the pot.

Moments later, Weinstock was seen across the room gathering his things and heading for the door.
