Wells Checks Down With Krnyaich; Lawson Applies Pressure

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Phillip Krnyaich limped in from late position and Adam Wells made it 1,600 from the button. Krnyaich called and the flop was {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Each player checked the flop and {5-Hearts} came on the turn. Both players checked again to see {7-Clubs} on the river. It went check-check again and the cards were turned up. Wells showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens and Krnyaich tossed his hand in the muck.

A couple of hands later, Michele Lawson checked a board of {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Wells bet 3,400 and Lawson made it 8,400. Wells thought better of it and tossed his hand in the muck.
