Warren Teal Eliminated in 11th Place ($14,500)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Warren Teal
Warren Teal

Kyle Cartwright opened to 60,000 in the hijack and Warren Teal re-jammed for 260,000 on the button. Cartwright called.

"A little more this time," said Teal, who had just chopped his stack of 220,000 with Cartwright the hand before when two baby aces saw three tens and a king come on board.

"I have a little better this time," said Cartwright, tabling {a-Spades}{7-Spades}. Teal showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

"Ace always wins here," said Cartwright in similar fashion to earlier in the afternoon. "Nice playing with you," he added.

Unfortunately for Teal, Cartwright's prediction was correct and the runout {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} brought about Teal's departure in 11th place.

Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin Eliminated in 12th Place ($14,500)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin
Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin

On the first hand back from the break, Jermaine "Lion" Gerlin open-jammed for 185,000 and Zach Gruneberg called in the big blind after looking down at his hole cards.

Jermaine Gerlin: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Zach Gruneberg: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Gerlin picked up a pair of sevens on the flop {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} but the turn {4-Hearts} left him with just two outs to the river, neither of which came as {a-Diamonds} completed the runout. Gerlin's 12th-place finish is good for $14,500.

A Pair of Doubles

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Hand #1 Zach Gruneberg opened to 65,000 in the hijack and immediately called a re-shove from Zach Gruneberg in the big blind.

Zach Gruneberg: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Stephen Strout: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

A ten-high runout {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs} left Gruneberg's eights best to score the dub.

Hand #2: On the very next hand, Dustin Holladay open jammed in the hijack for 320,000 and Jermaine Gerlin gave him action in the cutoff.

Dustin Holladay: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Jermaine Gerlin: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Holladay saw the flop {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades} and slid back from his chair, standing up as the turn {10-Hearts} came. However, the river {7-Hearts} gave him a set and caused him to sit back down with a fresh double. Gerlin was left with just 105,000 but doubled on the following hand to get back to 10 big blinds.

Maheshwar Linga Eliminated in 14th Place; Paul Petraglia Eliminated in 13th Place ($11,768)

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Maheshwar Linga
Maheshwar Linga

On the very next hand after Maheshwar Linga doubled with pocket kings, he got it in again on the button with a chance to double through Hal Rotholz in the hijack.

Maheshwar Linga: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Hal Rotholz: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Linga, the board ran out {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to give Rotholz a full house on the turn and bring about his elimination in 14th place.

A minute later, Paul Petraglia went out in 13th place after open-jamming {k-}{10-} into the {7-}{7-} of Stephen Strout and failing to win the coin flip. Strout, however, doubled Kyle Cartwright shortly thereafter to bring stacks to their current values.

Landreth Gets a Double

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Johnny Landreth opened to 60,000 under the gun and was called by both Jake Ferro in the hijack and Maheshwar Linga, who defended his big blind. Linga then open-jammed for about 300,000 on the flop {6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Landreth called all in for a bit less, prompting a fold from Ferro.

Maheshwar Linga: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Johnny Landreth: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Landreth's two pair faded spades as a pair of {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} completed the runout to earn his double. Linga was left with just 80,000 after but doubled on the following hand with pocket kings in the small blind.

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Tyler Phillips
Tyler Phillips

Tyler Phillips was just seen making his way to the payouts after having been eliminated in 15th place. Stephen Strout took his tournament life, continuing his heater of late, and filled in the details.

According to Strout, Philips opened and Strout called him before stacks got in on a {6-}{6-}{9-Hearts} flop.

Tyler Phillips: {k-}{9-}
Stephen Strout: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Strout's trips were ahead and he further improved to a flush as running hearts completed the runout to spell Phillips' elimination. Meanwhile, Strout now has chipped up to over 1.5 million with 14 remaining.

Arbaugh Check-Jams the Turn

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Brian Arbaugh pumped it up to 60,000 in middle position and received a call from David Jackson, who was on the button. Action went heads up to the flop {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Arbaugh continuation-bet 60,000. Jackson called.

The turn fell {3-Hearts} and Arbaugh checked. Jackson put out a bet of 100,000 and Arbaugh went into the tank for nearly two minutes before check-shoving for 460,000.

Jackson was then the one to go into the tank, thinking about his decision for close to a minute before tossing his 100K in Arbaugh's direction and giving up his cards to the dealer.
