199 players came out to play the Bar Poker Open Pro-Am at the Golden Nugget Casino and the final nine return today to compete for the title and the first prize of $44,086 with Ryan Hiller (955,000) leading the pack. This event always played in the highest spirits and saw a range of Bar Poker Open qualifiers, Golden Nugget cash game promotion winners, and many well-known pros duke it out over 19 levels on Day 1.

Household names such as Ryan Depaulo, Veronica Brill, Ana Marquez, Rob Kuhn, Garry Gates and Conrad Simpson were but a few of the invited pros that attended but sadly came up short of the cash. One invited pro that had better fortune was Joey Ingram, who ran up a stack before ultimately coming short, finishing sixteenth place for a $2,719 payday.

Players will return at 2 p.m. local time to the Golden Nugget Casino to play out the final day splay on the Gorlilla Gaming feature table. Blinds will resume with nineteen minutes left to play in Level 19 (10,000/20.000/20,000a) and from Level 20 the blind levels will increase to sixty minutes per level, and play will continue until a winner is crowned.
