Clock Called in Level Two
Level 2
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Action was on a river with 34,000 in the middle on a board of A♥9♣4♦Q♦6♦
Robert Kwan had shoved all in for around the same amount with Amador Bermejo pondering his decision.
"First hand all in?" Bermejo asked his opponent.
Eventually, the clock was called on Bermejo by Jai Duffy, to the bemusement of some players who considered it too soon.
"Doesn't it have to be 10% of the blind level?" asked Damien Stanley, with Bermejo also surprised at the decision.
The floor was called but Bermejo wasn't put on the clock just yet.
"You're telling me you have nines or fours," Bermejo said aloud to Kwan. "Or ace-queen?"
The tournament director eventually put Bermejo on the clock, with Bermejo open-folding the A♠ as the clock counted down.
