Becker Gets River Value from Fielder

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Johannes Becker three-bet to 4,000 on the button after Jeff Fielder opened in the cutoff to 1,200. The Iowan called for a {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop, and he check-called 3,500. On the {6-Spades} turn, both players checked, and the board sported trips after the {6-Diamonds} river.

Fielder checked and quickly called 12,000, but Becker had the winner with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Carter Rivers Better Two Pair

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Simon Carter opened the hijack to 1,1000 and Nino Ullmann defended his big blind with a call. Ullmann then check-called another 1,100 on {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} before both checked the {2-Spades} turn.

The river fell {a-Clubs} and Ullmann led out a big bet of 7,000. Carter quickly called and Ullmann showed {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a flopped two pair. Carter, however, got there with {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and took it down.

James Keenan was all in preflop for 25,625 and his neighbor, who had put in 5,100, thought about folding. However, he couldn't escape with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, even though his initial instinct proved right as Keenan turned up {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Keenan's aces stayed ahead, locking a double for Keenan.

Wright Eliminates Gray

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

Jason Gray's remaining chips went in on a {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, but he found himself in a bad shape, not only having flopped an inferior pair but also having blocked his kicker. Gray held {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and he couldn't improve against Nick Wright's {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Wright prevailed on the {q-Diamonds} and {5-Clubs} runout, eliminating Gray midway through the sixth level.

McKellar Busts Kramer in Huge Pot

Level 6 : 250/500, 500 ante

The board read {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} when the action was picked up with [Removed:172] having 14,500 in front of him. Kramer was sitting under the gun and the action was back at him after Pierce McKellar shoved for 34,900 from the big blind.

Kramer tanked and then placed in his remaining chips, only to see McKellar turn up {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Kramer mucked his hand and the dealer verified that McKellar had him covered by less than a big blind. McKellar virtually doubled while Kramer's campaign halted.
