Weiss Puts Caton at Risk
Level 2
: 100/200, 0 ante
Mitch Caton opened to 500 under the gun and Oliver Weiss flatted in the cutoff. Both players in the blinds joined them to the flop of where Caton continued for 1,000. Weiss raised to 3,300, getting rid of the blinds, and Caton called.
The turn came and Caton led out again, making it 2,500. Weiss, however, kept his foot on the gas pedal, raising to 6,700. Caton called.
The river was the and Caton checked to Weiss who moved all in with a covering stack. Caton had about 18,000 in front of him and he tanked for several minutes before someone at the table called the clock on him. Caton was given a minute to act and he let the clock run all the way down before he released his hand. Weiss claimed the pot without showing his hole cards.
