Ogura Doubles; Heich Eliminated

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Christian Heich
Christian Heich

Shortly after the resumption of play, Takashi Ogura got his last chips in with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} against the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} of Daniel Laidlaw and held on a {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to secure a small double.

Meanwhile, on the other table, it folded to Max Lehmanski on the button who raised and called Christian Heich's all in.

Lehmanski: {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}
Heich: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The board came {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Lehmanski's solitary pair was good enough to eliminate Heich.

Jattin's River Bet Gets Paid

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

On a river of {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} with around 80,000 in the middle, both Max Lehmanski and Alex Foxen checked to Farid Jattin who bet 49,000. Lehmanski called and Foxen thought about making a move before folding.

Jattin showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a flush and Lehmanski quickly mucked.

"Do I ever get it through," Foxen asked the table with a smile.

Godena Doubles Through Lim

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Anton Morgenstern limped under the gun, along with David Lim in middle position. Jarryd Godena limped in the small blind and Daniel Demicki checked the big blind.

The four checked a {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and the turn was the {a-Clubs}. Godena checked and Demicki bet 20,000. Morgenstern and Lim both called and Godena check-raised to 115,000. Demicki and Morgenstern both folded and Lim asked for a count before moving all in. Godena called.

Godena: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Lim: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The river was the {4-Spades} and Godena doubled up.

Nemeth Accounts for Another Elimination as Higgs Exits

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Andras Nemeth limped pre-flop and Sam Higgs raised to 25,000. Nemeth called and checked the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop to Higgs.

Higgs bet 75,000 and Nemeth check-raised all in. Higgs called and was at risk for his last 150,000 or so chips.

Higgs: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Nemeth: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The turn {4-Clubs} gave Nemeth a full house and the river was the {3-Clubs} as Higgs was eliminated and Nemeth sent a second player in a row to the rail.

Lehmanski Continues Meteoric Raise

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Matthew Wantman accidentally mucked {k-}{7-}{5-}{4-} under the gun, before Farid Jattin opened from early position and Max Lehmanski called.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} (giving Wantman what would have been the nut straight) and Jattin bet 40,000. Lehmanski called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Jattin bet 99,000. Lehmanski then raised in position all in for 374,500 and after a short tank Jattin called.

Jattin: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Lehmanski: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The river {10-Spades} changed nothing as Lehmanski's set held up and he doubled to over 800,000 in chips.
