Dhingra Out-Kicks Salter

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 12,000 ante

Jack Salter opened to 36,000 from middle position and Gautam Dhingra called on the button, as did Rainer Kempe from the big blind.

The flop landed {9-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Kempe checked to Salter who continued for 27,000. Dhingra called, and Kempe folded before both active players checked the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn.

The river landed the {6-Hearts} and Salter bet 100,000 and Dhingra snap-called.

Salter tabled his {A-Spades}{8-Spades} for trip aces, but it would be Dhingra's {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the same trips but a better kicker that would earn him the pot.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika

Luke Marsh limped the button before Kazuhiko Yotsushika raised to 40,000 from the small blind. Gautam Dhingra three-bet the big blind to 150,000 and Marsh folded.

Yotsushika moved all in for roughly 200,000, and Dhingra called.

Dhingra: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Yotsushika: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The flop landed {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} to see Dhingra connect but still need an ace or seven to eliminate Yotsushika.

The turn fell the {A-Clubs} to shift the advantage heavily in favor of Dhingra, and when the {5-Spades} completed the board on the river, Yotsushika was eliminated in eighth-place for a AU$117,780 payday.
