Loeser Doubles Through Kempe in Million Chip Pot

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Cary Katz opened to 22,000 in the hijack and Manig Loeser three-bet to 82,000 next to act in the cutoff.

From the button, Rainer Kempe cold four-bet to 190,000, and once the blinds folded, Katz folded also.

Loeser announced he was all in for 498,000, and Kempe called.

Kempe: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Loeser: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

"Deja vu!" announced Katz in reference to a previous all-in preflop clash between the two with the exact same holdings.

The dealer spread a {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop to thrust Loeser into the heavy favorite, and baring a runner-runner bad beat, he would double into the chip lead.

The turn landed the {4-Clubs}, and when the river fell the {9-Clubs}, Loeser collected the pot and climbed over one million in chips.

Kempe Doubles Through Muehloecker

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Rainer Kempe found himself all in for 270,000 preflop, and at risk against Thomas Muehloecker, after the two exchanged a series of bets.

Rainer Kempe: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Thomas Muehloecker: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} giving Kempe the winning hand with a higher two pair after spiking a king on the turn.

Foxen Puts His Time To Good Use; Eliminates Ziegler

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tobias Ziegler
Tobias Ziegler

With around 200,000 already in the pot and the board showing {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} Tobias Ziegler bet 100,000 from the small blind. Alex Foxen was in the cutoff and called shortly after.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and Ziegler moved all in for 151,000 which sent Foxen into the tank.

All up, Foxen used three time extensions, as he deliberated over his decision for three and a half minutes.

Foxen finally called and watched as Ziegler tabled {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair and a missed flush draw.

Foxen then flipped over his {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for two pair and took down the monster pot to see him rise to just short of one million in chips.

Martini Eliminated by Kanit

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Julien Martini (left)
Julien Martini (left)

Julien Martini shoved all in from under the gun for roughly his last 100,000 and Mustapha Kanit looked him up in the small blind.

Kanit: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Martini: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The dealer spread the {J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board and Kanit's better ace-high would eliminate Martini.
