Double for Kornuth

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Chance Kornuth first lost a small limped pot where he paid off Kurganov on the river to find himself short with just 680,000 in chips.

The next hand saw Igor Kurganov slide a big 25,000-stack worth 500,000 forward to make it 525,000. Chance Kornuth moved all in from the big blind and Kurganov made the call.

Chance Kornuth: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Igor Kurganov: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop was still good for Kornuth, but it did gave Kurganov some additional outs on top of his aces and kings. Kurganov was looking for an ace, king or nine on the turn but didn't get one with the {4-Hearts} popping up.

The river came the {10-Spades} and Kornuth doubled. Back to 27 big blinds for Kornuth.
